The Texas League’s best pitching staff was recognized as such Monday. Of the league-best nine Arkansas Travelers selected to the 75th Texas League All-Star game to be played June 29 in San Antonio, four were from a Travs starting rotation that boast a 3.74 ERA entering Monday’s games, which tied Arkansas with San Antonio for the league best. Starting pitchers Garrett Richards, Matt Shoemaker, Trevor Reckling and Orangel Arenas were all picked for the all-star game, while relief pitcher Ryan Brasier was also selected. Center fielder Mike Trout, shortstop Darwin Perez, third baseman Luis Jimenez and second baseman Ryan Mount were also selected as starters.
