— Maeve Nicole Kamerman became the bride of Taylor Andrew Collazo at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, in First Baptist Church, Searcy. The Rev. Brian Whitney officiated.

Parents of the bride are Tammy and Kenton Kamerman of Searcy. Her grandparents are Emma and Esso Plaisance of New Orleans and Richard and the late Luella Kamerman of Searcy.

The groom is the son of Sheri and Dr. Mel Collazo, 14015 Belle Pointe Drive. His grandparents are Nancy Leazott and the late Charles Hotvedt, both of Eau Claire, Wis., and Kitako and the late Modesto Collazo of Austin, Texas.

The chancel was centered with arrangements of hydrangeas, orange mambo spray roses, hypericum berries, bells of Ireland, hanging amaranthus and curly willow. Music was by Sassafras Strings with special music by vocalist and guitarist Austin Collazo, brother of the groom.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless ivory tulle princess-style ball gown with a sweetheart neckline. The pleated silk and satin organza bodice was embellished with a floral and jewel-encrusted band, and the gathered tulle skirt extended to a chapel-length train. She carried a jewel-tone bouquet of green hydrangeas, purple stock, purple moon carnations, orange mambo spray roses, green hypericum berries and solidago.

Morgan Kamerman of Searcy served as her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Amber Smith of Slidell, La.; Sarah Mason, Sarah Hill, Lynsey Stake and Autumn Swain, all of Searcy; and Lindsey Bowden and Rachel Haynes, both of Little Rock. They wore gowns of eggplant-colored silk taffeta with sweetheart necklines and carried bouquets of green hydrangeas.

Flower girl and ring bearer were Zaden Garlington and Ryder Mason, both of Searcy.

Austin Collazo of Little Rock was best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Shadid of North Little Rock; Aaron Langford, Walker Bowden, Luke Porter, Blake Larson and Nick Clifford, all of Little Rock; and John Marc Schellenberger of Batesville.

Guests were seated by Brian Langford of Little Rock, Dr. David Libby of Germantown, Tenn., and Kevin Kennedy of Memphis.

A reception at Robbins Sanford Grand Hall in Searcy followed the ceremony. Guest tables covered in eggplant-colored silk linens with ivory rosette overlays held tall mirrored vases with arrangements of hydrangeas, stock, carnations, amaranthus and curly willow. Assisting were Alex Gann of Jonesboro and Lacy Miller of Benton.

The bride attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and was a Razorback cheerleader. She received a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences and is a private practice dental hygienist.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Arkansas. He is a third year dental student at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and vice president of his dental class. He was inducted into the Honorary Dean’s Society, Omicron Kappa Epsilon, and recognized by the National Dental Honor Society. He is also the recipient of the Delta Dental Scholarship Award.

After a wedding trip to Mexico, the couple will live in Memphis.
