— Authorities say a juvenile has been arrested in Craighead County on suspicion of stabbing a dog and setting a house on fire.

Authorities say the boy will be charged in juvenile court. He was arrested this week on charges of arson, falsifying a police report and felony aggravated cruelty to animals.

The Jonesboro Sun reports that the dog survived the attack.

Craighead County Investigator Justin Rolland says authorities believe the boy threw a piece of concrete through a bedroom window and stabbed a dog last week at a relative's house.

Rolland says investigators believe the boy also poured an accelerant on an exterior wall of the home and set it on fire, but the blaze burned itself out without causing major damage.

He needs maximum penalty right now -- these people need to be taken out of society
b/c they will repeat, and move on to stabbing children and other people. According to
statistics, not all, but most offenders have a history of starting with anything helpless, like an animal. He wouldn't attempt to stab a Tiger -- They are impaired but know right from wrong. I'm tired of reading about a murder where some criminal was "just let out of the pen". Or was "on parole". Put them away.

This is why school needs to be year round or we have the option of killing anyone that poses a threat to society. We have almost 6 billion people on the planet, I think we can lose a few here and there.

When he turns 18 the boy can be classified as a sociopath, I.e. Charles Manson. Until then our education system has to treat just like anyone's little angel. No child left behind. No way!
