President Barack Obama has issued a proclamation Tuesday directing that the U.S. flag be flown at half-staff upon all public buildings and grounds to honor the victims of Monday's bombings at the Boston Marathon.

Like the U.S. flags, Arkansas state flags are being flown at half-staff until sunset Saturday.

On Monday, two bombs blew up seconds apart at the Boston race's finish line, killing three people and wounding more than 140.

At least 27 Arkansans ran in the Boston Marathon; none of them was injured.
