Man wanted for questioning in homicide charged with endangering welfare of minor

A man wanted for questioning in a fatal Thanksgiving shooting turned himself in Monday and is being held on a charge of endangering the welfare of a minor, authorities said.

The Pine Bluff Police Department said in a statement Monday that it was seeking Jeremy Reed, 22, of Pine Bluff, for questioning in the shooting death of 25-year-old Dametrick McDaniel inside an apartment.

The agency said Tuesday that Reed turned himself in late Monday afternoon and was jailed on a charge of endangering the welfare of a minor.

Rashune Raglon, 25, was arrested in Kansas City, Kan., and will face a charge of capital murder in the death, the police department said.

Another man, 23-year-old Brandon McClatchie, is still being sought for questioning, police said.

Officers were dispatched to the complex at 2600 S. Beech Street after a resident heard a knock and opened the door to find a 3-year-old girl by herself and without shoes on.

Police then went door-to-door to try and find the girl's guardian, ultimately locating her father, McDaniel, dead in one of the units.
