4 sane people out of 35 in the Senate...not a good percentage for our governance. Thanks for the new image problem, guys.

Christ ran the moneychangers out of the temple. These infidels are bringing in guns. They know not what thay do.
Question? Who is to foot the bill for insurance and the medical damages that probably will be a consequence of this stupidity.

Time to get more involved and make sure it's not allowed in my church. And you can be sure I'll check when "invited" to another church, especially with the kids....

You libs' sure don't show much confidence in your own church members to be able to contain themselves or handle their own weapons responsibly, do ya? LOLOL!! Gun free zones don't do anything but flash a neon sign to nutsacks taking anti psychotic meds who want to give you an early introduction to your higher power. Sure glad wimps like you weren't around when the West was won! Liberace lovers....haha!

    Jackabbott says...
"Christ ran the moneychangers out of the temple. These infidels are bringing in guns. They know not what thay [sic] do.

Point one: What did Christ actually do when he "drove out" the money changers?. Taking a whip in there to move folks out doesn't sound like he went unarmed and peaceful, but that's just because I actually read the text. I also find it interesting that you left off a significant part of the quote that concludes with "...they know not what they do."
Point two: As for liability insurance, most churches have it as part of their standard building insurance (that covers fires, storms, etc. much like a homeowner's policy). Most such policies exempt criminal acts, which is why making it LEGAL to carry these weapons for self-defense or defense of others actually makes it MORE likely that they will be covered by liability insurance.

To the liberal sheep, If you read above, all the bill does is remove from the list of places, churches, one may not exercise their 2nd ammenment right. It DOES NOT require a church to allow firearms if that church does not want to have them there.

I "get" why Obama and his people are attacking concealed carry holders... they want to remove guns to enhance government control over citizens, and they have framed the issue around dead children to suit their agenda. What I DON'T get is why liberals will buy into this fraudulent argument just because Obama and his news media spin lies into facts. Don't you have your own brain? Concealed Carry holders are not the enemy, and they are not the people you need to fear.

No need to carry protection in churches. I'm pretty sure that when the thugs come in waving their guns around, the preacher can explain that the church is a gun free zone and the thugs will apologise and quietly leave the building.

He took a weapon into where the thieves already were. He didn't stand at the door with a weapon or sit quietly in the temple a pull out the whip. Just like the heathens of that day, you had crooks and robbers who went to church. If you feel compeled to bring a weapon, how strong could your faith that He will protect you be???
You would have to be unbalanced and unfair to think
