Police seek man missing since friend's drowning

Police are searching for a missing man who they say was friends with a teen whose body was found in a Little Rock creek in May.

Officers are searching for Jonathan Eiland, a friend and "running buddy" of Kasey Hudson, 18, the Little Rock Police Department said in a statement. Hudson's body was found the morning of May 31 in Coleman Creek on the campus of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, the day after torrential rains fell in the area, causing flash flooding in some places.

Authorities later determined Hudson had drowned.

Eiland and Hudson's stayed together in the same homeless camp, Little Rock police said. Eiland has not been seen since Memorial Day weekend, when Hudson's body was found, police said.

He is not considered a suspect in any crime at this time but has been designated a missing person, authorities added.
