New office bolsters UA’s LR presence

The University of Arkansas has opened a new office suite in downtown Little Rock.

The space, on the 15th floor of the Metropolitan Tower at 425 W. Capitol Ave., was provided by Flake & Kelley Commercial and Capitol Avenue Development Co. UA said the office will be used by Fayetteville campus employees traveling to central Arkansas for university business.

UA said the office will give it a greater presence in the Little Rock area, where many alumni and donors live, as well as prospective students. Staff members who work in Little Rock, such as Director of Regional Advancement Programs Kathy Edgerton, will work in the new office, which includes meeting places, a conference room and a patio that can be used for special events.
