Barbecue Fundraiser Order Deadline

MORRILTON — Sacred Heart Catholic School is taking orders for 8- to 10-pound smoked Boston butts seasoned with a barbecue rub for $30 each. The deadline for orders is noon Thursday. Each Boston butt will feed 15 to 20 people. Orders will be available for pickup from noon to 5 p.m. July 2 at Sacred Heart Catholic School. Make checks payable to Sacred Heart School Bazaar. QuickBooks Seminar

RUSSELLVILLE — The Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center will present an Intermediate QuickBooks seminar from 9 a.m. to noon at Arkansas Tech University. Participants will learn about the more advanced features of QuickBooks, including tracking inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable and generating reports. A basic working knowledge of QuickBooks is required to attend the seminar. A computer will be provided for each participant to use during the session. Blood Drive

RUSSELLVILLE — Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center, in conjunction with the American Red Cross, invites members of the River Valley community to donate blood from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in cafes 2 and 3. Charity Golf Tournament

MAUMELLE — The First United Methodist Church of Maumelle Men and Youth will host the 10th annual Ken Watson Charity Golf Tournament at the Maumelle Country Club, with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. There will be a $1 million shot opportunity selected by a random drawing, and a $50,000 shootout. FAST Summer Programs

CONWAY — The Conway Regional Therapy Center’s summer FAST program will kick off at the Hendrix Wellness and Athletic Center with four sessions beginning Monday. The program has sessions designed to help young athletes, grades 3 through college, improve their skills. Sessions are as follows: Total Athlete Session A, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, June 17 to July 12, and session B, July 15 to Aug. 9, for grade 7 through college; Football Session, Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 18 to July 18, grades 7-12; Dead Weeks, Tuesday and Thursdays, June 18 to June 28, grades 9-12; Movement Skills Session A, Monday and Wednesday, June 17 to July 10, and Session B, Tuesday and Thursday, July 16 to Aug. 8, grades 3-6. MAUMELLE — Vacation Bible School registration at First Baptist Church Maumelle is under way. Colossal Coaster World for children ages 3 through the fifth grade will be held from 6-8:30 p.m. June 24-28. “Facing fear, trusting God,” from 2 Timothy 1:7 will be the emphasis through Bible study, music, games and crafts. CLINTON — The Little Red River Audubon Society will host Creature Feature, a program designed to give an up-close experience with some of the animals from the Little Rock Zoo, on June 25. The program, which is suitable for kids of all ages, will begin around 7 p.m. at the Petit Jean Electric Building, 270 Quality Drive in Clinton. Raffle and Bake Sale

ATKINS — Atkins Catholic Church on U.S. 64 will have its annual meal, raffle and bake sale from 4:30-8 p.m. June 29 in McKee Hall. The meal is a buffet of slow-roasted beef served with horseradish sauce and brown gravy. There will also be a salad bar, mashed potatoes, country green beans, homemade rolls and desserts. The cost of the buffet is $12 for adults and $6 for children 6 to 12. Raffle winners will be announced after the meal. Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m.
