A 24-year-old North Little Rock woman is accused of using a box cutter to cut a man she lives with during a dispute over rent money.
North Little Rock police say it happened about 4:30 p.m. Monday at a residence in the 5000 block of Velvet Ridge.
According to an arrest report, the victim said Tacara Murphy "cut him with a box cutter and hit him with a" soda can in a sock during a fight over rent money. The two had lived together at the home for about a month, the report said.
No information about the extent of the victim's injuries was included in the report.
Murphy is facing a charge of second-degree domestic battery. She remained in the Pulaski County jail Tuesday morning with bail not yet set.
A preliminary court date is scheduled for later Tuesday morning.
