McDaniel to join copper-theft panel

LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel is meeting with fellow leaders from surrounding states to discuss the growing problem of copper theft.

McDaniel is scheduled to meet with Tennessee Attorney General Robert Cooper, Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood and representatives from the Louisiana attorney general's office on Monday afternoon in Memphis.

Arkansas Agriculture Secretary Butch Calhoun is also expected to attend, along with other representatives from agriculture and law enforcement communities.

The meeting is set for 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Donnelly J. Hill State Office Building in Memphis.
