Little Rock Zoo’s newly updated master plan includes adding an aquarium, increasing guests’ interaction with animals and expanding exhibits into location-based areas — some of which could materialize within the next five years, the plan’s architect told city officials Tuesday.

    I’m impressed so far. But, if you really want the “wow” factor, you need to have the transparent slide passing through the water feature exotic ocean creatures. Kids’ favorite exhibits feature monkeys and tigers and pandas, etc. - none of which are native. Imagine the kids lined up in the tube waiting for a tiger shark or sting ray to swim right over them. I’m just saying, if you are going to spend that kind of money ...
