Gov.-elect Asa Hutchinson made a surprise visit Tuesday to the state's largest youth lockup, where he met with boys and girls housed there as well as new leadership put in place after allegations of physical abuse at the facility surfaced last summer.

    It houses about 100 of the state's most violent and behaviorally troubled juvenile delinquents.....good luck keeping them out of the lock ups as they age

    This is great to see! Our Correctional system has been on auto pilot for too long.Thank you Governor Elect Hutchinson for seeing the value and need for independent oversight of the juvenile and adult systems. Hopefully, the days of the 'fox guarding the chicken house' will be over with your administration.
