An El Dorado man has died after a Monday evening collision, the Arkansas State Police said.

Javier Silvo-Navarro, 32, was driving a 2004 Saturn south on Arkansas 7 in El Dorado when a 2011 Toyota Tundra driving west on Arkansas 160 crossed into the Saturn's path, according to an Arkansas State Police accident report. The vehicles collided at 6:11 p.m., the report states.

Silvo-Navarro was taken to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock, where he died just after 2 a.m. Tuesday, state police said.

The Tundra's driver and 5-year-old passenger were uninjured, the report said.

The weather was clear and the road dry at the time of the accident, according to the report.

Silvo-Navarro's death was the 46th on Arkansas roads so far in 2014, according to preliminary state police figures.
