A Houston man was uninjured Friday morning when his pickup slid off a wet Interstate 440 in Little Rock and crashed into a wooded area.

It happened shortly before 7 a.m. on the eastbound highway about a half-mile west of the Fourche Dam Pike exit.

The driver, 20-year-old Aguilar Alexander, said the low tire pressure alert had just come on when his Ford F-150 lost control on a rainy morning.

It then went off the shoulder, down an embankment, through some bushes and into a wooded area, stopping short of a small creek.

Alexander said he couldn't describe his rough trip down the embankment.

"I don't know," he said. "I closed my eyes."
