Boy, 3, shot dead by relative in home

FONTAINE - Greene County authorities say a 3-year-old boy died after being shot in the head by a relative at a home near Fontaine in northeastern Arkansas.

Sheriff Dan Langston told reporters that the boy wasshot by a relative about noon Saturday and was pronounced dead at a Paragould hospital.

Langston declined to release the names of the boy and the relative who fired the shot. The sheriff said the investigation into the shooting continues.
