Twisted tales
The University of Central Arkansas Theatre’ Cadron Company will stage Furry Tails With a Twist by Jennifer Hickok DeFratis at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday in the Reynolds Performance Hall, UCA, 201 Donaghey Ave., Conway.
Two bumbling actors setting out to perform well known fairy tales jumble the script and twist the tales. The 45-minute play is aimed primarily at children ages 4 to 11. The show will also tour to more than 20 central Arkansas elementary schools.

Intensive auditions
Arkansas Festival Ballet will host audition classes for Oklahoma City Ballet’s summer intensive ballet training Saturday at the Arkansas Festival Ballet/Arkansas Academy of Dance Studio, Breckenridge Village Shopping Center, Interstate 430 and North Rodney Parham Road, Little Rock. Registration starts at 1:30 p.m.; the audition will run from 2 to 3:30. There’s a $20 audition fee.
The intensive training,open to students ages 13-23, runs June 9-July 18 in two three-week sessions at the company’s studios in Oklahoma City.
