4 killed on Arkansas roads, 2 from centerline crossings

A two-vehicle accident on Arkansas 72 in Gravette early Tuesday left one woman dead, according to a report released Friday by the Arkansas State Police.

A 2014 Ram pickup was driving west along Arkansas 72 around 7:38 a.m. when it crossed the centerline and struck a 2014 Toyota Corolla, the report states.

The driver of the Toyota -- Angella Scott, 43, of Bella Vista -- was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Mulberry man was hit and killed while sitting in the road after being involved in a wreck, according to a report from Arkansas State Police.

Karl Brandon Kasprytzki, 34, was sitting in the eastbound lane of a bridge on Pointer Trail in Van Buren around 5:46 a.m. Thursday when a 2000 Nissan Maxima ran over him, the report states.

Kasprytzki had just been involved in a rollover accident, the report states. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Nissan was not injured, the report states.

A Jacksonville man was killed in an accident on Arkansas 294 in Lonoke around 8:06 p.m. Thursday, according to a report from state police.

Mark Lingo, 57, was driving a 1986 Toyota west on Arkansas 294 near Moody Road when he crossed the centerline and struck a 2007 Dodge head-on, the report states.

Lingo died as a result of his injuries. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured.

A Conway woman was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Arkansas 36 in Faulkner County on Friday, according to a report from state police.

A 2002 BMW was traveling south on Arkansas 36 near Debbie Lane when it exited the roadway to the right, crossed a large ditch and overturned, the report states.

The driver -- Carolyn L. Oliver, 38 -- died as a result of her injuries.
