On November 19, 1863, President Abraham Lincoln gave a two-minute speech at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, in which he uttered a few words capturing the essence of the Declaration of Independence. At the end of his great message he declared a powerful truth about our nation, stating "that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth."

Judge Wendall Griffin gave a strong, scathing takedown of both Rapert and Democrat Gazette editorial staff and ownership. It is well worth going to his FB page to read.

I was simply making the point that most of you want Rapert to shut up and go away. There were comments about the length of his article and why the Dem-Gaz printed it. Regardless of what you think of his position on the matter, he has the right to say it, and the Dem-Gaz has the right to print it.

    JASON RAPERT FOR PRESIDENT!
    .
It's pure folly to equate a lifestyle choice with civil rights, as thusly illustrated: A racist, sexist, homophobe interviews three people for a job. One is a heterosexual white woman. One is a heterosexual black man. The other is a gay white man. Who gets the job, and why?
    .
Conservatives are most tolerant of what consenting adults do in private. Gays can sodomize one another all they want, so long as they are consenting adults. The GBTLQ lobby is most intolerant of people who believe the state has the right to decide what behaviors it will sanction. Conservatives on the whole are much more tolerant than libs.
    .
The GBLTQ lifestyle choice is both unhealthy and unnatural. The data that shows the epidemic of AIDS, rectal cancer, and transmission of STD's among the GBLTQ community compared to straight people is indisputable. The human body includes parts biologically designed for specific functions. When those body parts are used in ways inconsistent with such biological purpose, such as man on man anal sex, it is patently unnatural.
    .
THE GBLTQ bullies do not support true "marriage equality". If they did, they would surely recognize the inequity in defining marriage as limited to one man/woman and one woman/man. True marriage equality would include any number and combination of consenting adults including polygamists, bi-sexuals, siblings, and same sex heterosexuals.
    .
Nowhere in the US Constitution does it provide for a lifestyle choice to trump religious freedom. People simply lie when the say otherwise. (Yes, JakeTidmore, I'm talking to you).

    * A racist, sexist, homophobe interviews three people for a job. One is a heterosexual
    * white woman. One is a heterosexual black man. The other is a gay white man. Who gets
    * the job, and why?
    ~
None of them. His eyes reveal the woman and black, eliminating them instantly. It takes a while, but during the interview, it is impossible for the gay white man to hide from the homophobe's "gaydar". Gay's Mutant Power (i.e. super empathy) cannot long be hidden and the homophobe's unnatural FEAR heightens his sensitivity and turns him aggressive.
    ~
    * Conservatives are most tolerant of what consenting adults do in private.
    ~
Possibly. Proglib nannies do appear to be vastly more intolerant to differing ideas than conservatives, but more research is indicated.
    ~
    * The GBTLQ lobby is most intolerant of people who believe the state has the right to
    * decide what behaviors it will sanction.
    ~
Not at all, Pack. The gays just want the same thing everyone else wants - equal protection under the law - they are just very demonstrative about it. Singles not so much...sigh.
    ~
    * The GBLTQ lifestyle choice is both unhealthy and unnatural.
    ~
I do not accept the proposal that gays make a lifestyle choice and that it is unnatural. I find plenty of evidence in the literature to foster healthy controversy on the subject. I find many convincing arguments for gays being imbued with mutant power from birth. As for health, that is a matter of personal hygiene and individual characteristics of promiscuity. You cannot paint an entire people group with brushes designed to outline individual behaviors. Risk assessment does not work that way. The assessments must be done on a case-by-case basis.
    ~
    * THE GBLTQ bullies do not support true "marriage equality".
    ~
Sad, but true. However, it is not such a strange thing, is it? Gays want what we all want, equal protection. Is it so strange they only demonstrate for GAY rights and not the rights of SINGLES? Not at all. Singles should get out there and demonstrate for their own equal rights. I find it offensive that you only use incest, bestiality and polygamy in your arguments. Singles need special marriage privilege, too.
    ~
    * Nowhere in the US Constitution does it provide for a lifestyle choice to trump religious freedom.
    ~
Of course it doesn't. But "lifestyle choice" is the red herring here. Gays don't make a lifestyle choice. They are born as super empaths. It is quite possible you confuse sadomasochist couples for gay couples.

Hey Po - "I do not accept the proposal that gays make a lifestyle choice and that it is unnatural." Sorry Po, but how can you conclude anything else based on critical thought. Human anatomy is very specific in the ways it was designed for procreation. By natural design male/female intercourse has a very specific biological purpose. Any other use of body parts designed for that specific purpose is unnatural. It doesn't necessarily make such use perverted or a even a bad idea, but it is nevertheless unnatural. Again, gay men can sodomize one another all they want in private and as a conservative I feel it is none of my business. Just don't expect a critical thinking person to call anal love natural, or support the state sanctioning it through the definition of marriage.
    .
If you accept that people are born GBLTQ you must also accept that the Jerry Sandusky's of the world are born pedophiles and thus their lifestyle protected by the 14th Amendment. You must also accept that a person born with a penis who at 30 years of age has had a deductadictomy and lives as a bisexual cross-dresser who finds sexual comfort in biological females when dressed as a cross-dressing female and biological males as an "identified" biological male was just born that way. Nope, I'll never believe that someone was "born" that way. Don't confuse desire with action.
    .
"As for health, that is a matter of personal hygiene and individual characteristics of promiscuity." And dictated by unnatural sexual behavior indicative of the GBLTQ lifestyle choice. Risk assessment are absolutely done that way - consider the way insurance companies consider the health risk of smokers versus non-smokers. Happens every day, Po. The fact that AIDS occurs 100 times more among gay men than straight men is a pretty compelling risk factor, don't you think?
    .
That the GBLTQ bullies equate the day-to-day struggles minorities and women have in society today with the GBLTQ lifestyle illustrates a certain desperation that belittles women and minorities. Notice how the crickets always come out to play whenever this point is made?

    Ok, Pack.
I'll dig into born homo vs born pedo. That might be moot, though. I don't think pedo's are a protected class. I'll warn you, though. I'm biased. I currently think pedo's are just sociopaths with a fetish. Kids are just sex toys to them, not little people.
    ~
As far as the health risk assessment...I think we are apples and oranges here. You are right about insurance adjusters and actuarial tables. That is a strictly bottom line business proposition. Social risk is different. I'll think on it more.
    ~
The whole mad, crazy scene you describe with the 30 year old trans who thinks he is bisexual depending on how he is cross-dressed...well I am having trouble finding that in the literature. Can you help me with references? Let me get it straight.
    1. It hates It's penis and has it transformed into a vagina
    2. When It dresses as a woman, It thinks It is a homo female and desires other women.
    3. When It dresses as a man, It thinks It is a hetero female transvestite and desires penetrating intercourse.
I don't actually think that It exists. Help me out, bro.

Hey Po - Libs get so red-faced whenever reading a comparison and contrast between the GBLTQ lifestyle choice and the P (pedophilia) lifestyle choice they become incapable of rational thought. The simple point is if you say one lifestyle is not a choice you must logically say the same about the other. Didn't that TV weatherman pretty much see that poor dead young boy wearing the dog collar in the hot tub as a sex toy? Just saying.......
    .
When it comes to risk assessment, social risk can be as consequential as geographic, natural, or physical risk. It's all about outcomes regardless of the type of "risk".
    .
"The whole mad, crazy scene you describe....." The reference is in the GBLTQ equation taken to logical conclusion. The person could hate their penis but CHOSE to act on that hate to turn it into a vagina. When it dresses as a woman it very well might consider itself a homo female that desires other women - the CHOICE is its. When it dresses as a man it might consider itself a hetero female transvestite that desires either receptive or insertive intercourse, the CHOICE is its. Ever seen the crowd at a Lady Ga Ga concert? "It" does exist. So, is it born all these ways? I think not.

Well, it all makes sense. Packman is Rapert. Look at the prose, equally irrational, vile and goes on waaaay too long.
