4 p.m. update: Funnel cloud reported in east Arkansas
A funnel cloud was reported in Woodruff County as a line of severe storms passed through eastern Arkansas.
The National Weather Service issued tornado warnings for the system Monday afternoon, and sheriff's deputies in Woodruff County reported seeing the funnel. The apparent tornado was east of McCrory and heading toward Pumpkin Bend.
The storm system also caused flash flooding in White Hall, where emergency management officials said there was some road flooding.

1:55 p.m. update: Tornado warnings issued for parts of state
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for Prairie, White and Woodruff counties at 1:53 p.m. in effect until 2:30 p.m. Monday.
Officials said the NWS doppler radar indicated a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado. At 1:53 p.m., the storm was located five miles west of Des Arc and is moving northeast at 40 mph.
6:30 a.m.: More storms, severe weather chances expected
Another stormy day is in store for much of Arkansas on Monday, and there's a slight chance for severe weather for part of the state including damaging winds and hail, the National Weather Service said.
Showers and thunderstorms are expected over much of Arkansas with greater chances coming in the southern half of the state, the weather service said. Severe storms could develop in the southern region, the agency added, but the overall likelihood of it is "relatively low." Damaging winds are considered more likely than damaging hail.
Flash flooding chances, meanwhile, are higher because storms in recent days — and earlier Monday — have already dropped significant rainfall. A flash flood watch is in effect for roughly the northern two-thirds of Arkansas.
"An additional 1 to 3 inches of rainfall are expected [through Monday night] and some of the rainfall will accumulate rapidly at times," the weather service said. "With the ground already saturated from the rainfall over the past few days, any additional heavy rain will only increase the threat for flash flooding."
More showers and thunderstorms are expected Tuesday, but the weather service said that Wednesday through later in the week will bring "a bit of a break."
