Where I live: I live in the Lakewood neighborhood of North Little Rock with my husband, Guy, and three rescued dogs, Jenny, Rosie and Rudy.

Occupation: My passion is arts marketing. In July, I became the director of marketing and communications at the Arkansas Arts Center after spending six years in that same position at Arkansas Repertory Theatre.

My favorite space: My favorite space is my open, sunny dining room.

Why? It's where we gather for dinner with friends and have created special traditions, like brunch on Christmas morning with my stepdaughter, Leslie, and her husband, Ben, and baby Olivia. It also contains several treasured flea market finds. My dining room table is actually a library table, and I love setting the table with my thrifted Wexford glassware. A beautiful antique stand radio -- which became ours when we placed a low bid at an estate sale and won -- stands against the wall. My husband's childhood rolltop desk sits in a corner. This room is filled with memories and history. I am reminded to cherish my own history while it's in the making.

If I could make one change to improve this space, I would: refurbish the antique radio and record player so it could actually play music during dinner! We'd slip on a Billie Holiday record and drift back in time.
