Where I live: I live in the Heights neighborhood of Little Rock.
Occupation: I am the marketing director at JPMS Cox, PLLC.
My favorite space is: My living room.
Why? The living room is my favorite place for several reasons. It is the first room you enter when you walk through the front door.
It's a quaint space with a long living room encompassing two living areas. One area is grouped around a nice but nonworking fireplace. The other end has a second sofa, chairs and ottomans and is next to the closet bar. Whenever I have friends or family over, this is where we lounge and visit. It has seen many girls' nights and family get-togethers over the years. It is also a great place to relax after a busy day at work. There are several pieces of furniture in the room that were handed down by my parents and grandparents that are very special and sentimental to me. When I first moved into this house 3 1/2 years ago, I wasn't sure I would spend much time here, but Keith James, who was a longtime family friend, helped make it into an inviting space that I have truly enjoyed.
If I could make one change to improve this space, I would: Not change a thing. It's a small space, but it has a lot of character and warmth, especially when I'm relaxing on the sofa catching up with friends and family.
