Highland High graduate selected as Fulton County Fair Queen

— Savannah Noel Sutton was crowned Fulton County Fair Queen at the annual pageants held Saturday. Savannah, the 19-year-old daughter of Jare Sutton and Cindy and Jeff Brown, lives with her grandmother in Agnos and is a 2015 honor graduate of Highland High School. She plans to attend Arkansas State University and obtain a degree in pre-dentistry.

Libbie Bryona Watkins was named the first runner-up in the pageant. Libbie, the 17-year-old daughter of Scott and Michelle Watkins of Salem, is a 2015 honor graduate of Salem High School. She plans to attend the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and pursue degrees in special education and occupational therapy.

Callie Marsh was the second runner-up and is the 17-year-old daughter of Julie and Bill Marsh of Salem. Callie will be a senior at Salem High School and plans to attend the University of Arkansas and major in music performance with a minor in music education.

Libbie and Callie will represent Fulton County at the North Central Arkansas District Fair Queen Pageant at Ozarka College in Melbourne on Sept 25. Savannah will represent Fulton County at the Arkansas State Fair Queen Pageant in Little Rock on Oct. 14.

The Fair Queen Pageant is for girls 17 to 21 years of age and consists of three competitions: interview, casual/sport wear and evening gown.
