SEARCY — The Searcy Police Department says it's getting fewer tips about a 2-year-old boy who disappeared in November.

The Daily Citizen reported that the department gets just a couple of calls per week about Malik Drummond, who disappeared from his Searcy home on Nov. 23.

Police say Malik's father's girlfriend told them that when she came out of the bathroom and asked where he was, one of the other children in the home pointed to the screen door. Malik's father was reportedly asleep in the bedroom at the time. His mother was in the hospital.

Family members, law enforcement, emergency personnel and local residents searched the neighborhood. Citizen search parties were called off in December.
