Arkansas State Police are investigating a "shooting incident" that occurred Tuesday night in Cabot, according to state police spokesman Bill Sadler.
According to a Facebook post by Cabot police about 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, there was a "police incident" happening at South Pine and East Main streets. The post said the "scene is secure and safe. No Cabot officers are involved in the incident."
State police were requested to the scene by Cabot police, Sadler said. Agents were just arriving on scene about 10 p.m. Tuesday.
Neither state police nor Cabot police released further details on the shooting Tuesday night.
