Five women ages 18 to 28 were arrested Oct. 2 for prostitution in Hot Springs as part of a nationwide human trafficking sting, police said.

The women are: Angene Lilian Clark, 28; Brandy Michelle Armstrong, 24; Nieshia Dominique Moore, 23; Savannah Cheyenne Pergeson, 18; and Holly Marie Philips, 27.

No minors were involved in the Operation Cross Country IX sting Oct. 2, according to the statement.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported earlier this month that five women were arrested Oct. 1 in Conway as part of Operation Cross Country IX.

According to the FBI, 149 underage trafficking victims were discovered and 153 pimps arrested as part of the nationwide operation in early October.

Officials said the most recent nationwide sting was the largest in the nine-year history of the initiative.

Operation Cross Country IX was conducted by the FBI in partnership with local, state and federal agencies and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
