Body of man found in Springdale creek

Springdale police and the Washington County Coroner look at a body found in a creek near Randall Wobbe Lane in Springdale. The body of a man was found Thursday in a creek bed off Randall Wobbe Lane and west of Lowell Road near a Tyson Foods facility. Police received a call about the body at 1 p.m., according to a news release. Police don't know how long the body was in the creek, but said no foul play is suspected. The body was to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for positive identification.

SPRINGDALE -- The body of a man was found Thursday in a Springdale creek bed off Randall Wobbe Lane west of Lowell Road near a Tyson Foods facility.

Police received a call about the body at 1 p.m., according to a news release. Police don't know how long he was in the creek, but said foul play is not suspected.

The body was sent to the state Crime Laboratory for identification, the release stated.
