Little Rock police arrested a Kansas man on three counts of aggravated assault Thursday after he pointed a gun at a bail bondsman who was attempting to serve him with felony warrants, police said.
Alexander Petrides, 37, tried to run the bondsman over with a vehicle at 7620 Baseline Road, a report said. He is also accused of pointing a gun at the bondsman and firing into the air.
When officers searched Petrides they found multiple bags with a powderlike substance in the front waistband of his pants, the report said. Officers also found two guns in his vehicle.
Petrides, of Shawnee Mission, Kan., was arrested at 6:40 a.m. and booked into the Pulaski County jail on the three aggravated assault charges, possession of cocaine with the purpose to deliver, possession of heroin with the purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.
