The woman, described as 22 to 25 years old, was shot an unknown number of times at the Sonic Drive-In at 12214 Westhaven Drive in Little Rock, said Lt. Steve McClanahan, Police Department spokesman. Police did not disclose her condition or name.

McClanahan said three black men were seen leaving the scene in a silver 2005 Cadillac DeVille with a chrome front grille and paper tags. He said one man got out of the vehicle and then returned to the vehicle before the car drove off.

McClanahan said the Cadillac fled on Westhaven Drive heading toward Bowman Road.

An Arkansas State Police trooper, who was one of a group of troopers at a nearby restaurant when the shooting took place, was taken from the scene in a neck brace. McClanahan said the trooper's injuries were not related to the shooting.

Samantha Durham, 20, who works as a carhop at Sonic, had arrived at the restaurant shortly after the shooting and found that her friend and co-worker had been shot.

Durham, who was working earlier that day, said she saw her friend bleeding and gasping for air as medical personnel worked on her.

A witness at the scene who asked not to be identified said he heard three shots.

For some reason there is a disproportionate number of black men in prison. These black men (thugs) that fled the scene are not a part of the solution.

Three males against one female....and probably because she "disrespected" one of the perps.

It is considered by some to be prejudicial to bring up overwhelmingly disproportionate black criminality. Per some left of right posters to this board the black community is working hard to alleviate this condition. See however Charles Barkley's comments on the subject.

For those of you that watched the news on TV last night, Obama has now made it "discrimination" for landlords NOT to rent to criminals solely because of their criminal record. What the hell? I own properties & be damned if he's going to force me to rent to these thugs! I have a duty to my tenants to keep them as safe as possible. Let them move in next door to him! What's next - employers will be forced to hire thugs too?

Where is the goofy, feckless LR police chief, handing our turkeys to parolees or issuing IDs to criminal. What a joke. LR needs to get serious about crime now. Using Detroit and Baltimore as role models is the wrong path.

The usual suspects do what they do best.
When will the NAACP and BLM be on scene to protest this latest round of violence?

The thugs are getting so lazy they don't even bother to get out of the car to rob someone. I guess they didn't get the memo that we're all supposed to play nice now.

What kind of lazy, lowlife, idiot robs a carhop? She probably didn't even have enough money on her to even fill the tank of that Cadillac that they were driving. And, if the owner ever decides to license that car, I'm sure a red flag will go up at the DMV. Glad I don't need to license a 2005 Cadillac Seville.
