Laura Rachel Porter and Thomas Christoph Keller exchanged marriage vows at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 4, in Trinity Episcopal Cathedral with the father of the bridegroom officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Anne and Jim Porter of Hamburg. Her grandparents are Jay and Annette Porter and the late Fern Porter, all of Lake Village, and the late Floy and Gene Barnes of Hamburg.

Parents of the bridegroom are Julie and the Rev. Christoph Keller III of Little Rock. His grandparents are the late Caroline and the Rev. Christoph Keller Jr. of Alexandria, La., and the late Sue Honeycutt and Dr. Thomas Honeycutt, both of Little Rock.

The arch above the cathedral entrance was framed with a garland of roses, hydrangeas, stock, plumosa and smilax. The chancel held arrangements of hydrangeas, peonies and agapanthus in shades of white. Music was by organist Victoria Harden, the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral Choir, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra String Quartet, and William James Porter, the bride's brother, who played a piano solo by Chopin.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory strapless ballgown with a silk crossover bodice and a full tulle skirt and chapel train. She carried a bouquet of all white peonies.

Maid of honor was Mary Ashleigh Bierbaum of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Mary Keller of New York, sister of the bridegroom; Caitlin Gilbert of Austin, Texas; Quincy Plafcan of Little Rock; Alexa Mizer and Lauren Elizabeth Brewer, both of Fayetteville; Courtney Holt of McGehee; Rachel Culp of Little Rock; Quincy Jordan of Joplin, Mo.; and Erin Callan of Charleston.

They wore gowns of slate-colored taffeta and carried small hydrangea bouquets.

Flower girls were Virginia Milwee and Marion Milwee of Little Rock. Ring bearer was Bo Barnes of Hamburg.

Serving as best man was Charles Anthony Nelson II of Birmingham, Ala. Groomsmen were William James Porter III of Carrboro, N.C., brother of the bride; Allen Shafer of Winston-Salem, N.C.; Paul Morrison of Charlotte, N.C.; Alexander Fraser of Newport Beach, Calif.; Knox Wilmer Jr. of Atlanta; and Mark Chaney of New Orleans.

Guests were seated by Neil Bora of Chicago; Austin Grinder of Little Rock; Jonathan Joyner of San Francisco; Jason Joyner of Richmond, Va.; Joshua Hallenbeck of Fayetteville; and Quinten Whiteside of Little Rock.

A reception at the Arkansas Arts Center followed the ceremony. Guest tables alternated arrangements of wedding flowers in test tube installations and larger arrangements. Music was by The SoulSations.

The bride has bachelor's degrees in English and political science from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She has a juris doctorate from the UA School of Law and is a clerk for Judge Chris Piazza, Division 2 judge of the Sixth Circuit in Arkansas.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Sewanee: The University of the South, with a bachelor's degree in philosophy and a magna cum laude juris doctorate graduate of the UA Law School. He is a clerk for Judge Kristine G. Baker, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.

The couple will live in Little Rock and plan a delayed wedding trip to California.
