An altercation in a parking lot over a Confederate flag sticker reportedly led to a Hot Springs woman being punched, according to the Hot Springs Sentinel-Record.

The newspaper reported Tuesday that police responded Friday to a fight in a parking lot at Hot Springs High School. A woman there told officers she was punched several times in the face by two juveniles while she tried to protect her son.

The fight reportedly concerned the Confederate flag sticker on the rear window of the son's car, the newspaper reported.

The son could not identify the two others involved but said they had tried out for the football team along with him, according to a police report. The woman said she plans to press charges.

The Sentinel-Record in Hot Springs contributed to this report.

These kids need to appear in juvenile court where they can learn the end does not justify the means.

I can't determine the kids' politics from this information. I don't see that it matters.

Maybe FSM needs to learn about the 1st Amendment.
Sounds like the son was enough of a man not to hit a girl and the mom was just being a mom, while the juvenile girls were just being typical libs astutely intolerant of tolerance. Typical f'ing libs.

The two young ( THUGS ) who punched the woman need to be charged with a hate crime.

Free Spirit Man, I am so glad you were not my parents. They raised us in a decent manner. I was taught respect at an early age and taught not to fight a woman or ever hit one. I assume Free Spirit is a grown man, but does not know the difference between right and wrong. The parents' of the attackers need some decent parents as well.

I'm sure in the next life Jesus will punish the two juveniles who stood against a symbol of slavery and hate, and the woman who stood up for slavery and intolerance will be rewarded with a seat at the right hand of God. Until we get the 2 Utes' side of the story, though, who knows what happened. Maybe momma took the first punch.
