LITTLE ROCK McCLELLAN 32, HOT SPRINGS LAKESIDE 16

HOT SPRINGS -- Little Rock McClellan ended Hot Springs Lakeside's season for the second consecutive year.

McClellan, last year's Class 5A runner-up, led 26-0 at halftime and cruised at Austin Field. The Crimson Lions (8-3) go to Wynne for a quarterfinal game next week. Lakeside, 5A-South co-champion for the second-straight year, finished (6-5) lost 50-37 to the Crimson Lions in the quarterfinals last year.

Dalvion Childs passed for 64 yards to Jaylin Cunningham for a touchdown with 1:32 left in the first quarter for an 8-0 McClellan lead. Raoshun Young ran for two points, making it 8-0. Lakeside scored the final 16 points in the game.

McClellan outgained Lakeside 370-225.
