Little Rock Chinese restaurant robbed at gunpoint

A Chinese restaurant near UALR in Little Rock was robbed at gunpoint Sunday afternoon, according to a police report.

The owner told officers a male wearing all black came into Go Go China at 3218 S. University Ave. about 2:50 p.m. and acted like he was ordering food.

When the cashier opened the register, the owner said, the robber grabbed $200 from the drawer, then flashed a handgun and ran.

The owner told police he followed the robber into the residential area west of the restaurant before losing him. UALR is just east of the restaurant.

Police have named no suspects, and no arrests had been made at the time of the report.
