Cally Kildow pitched a three-hitter and struck out 11 to lead the Lady Lions to the state semifinals on Saturday.

Gravette scored a pair of fifth inning runs to give the freshman Kildow all the run support she needed, and the Lady Lions tacked on an insurance run in the sixth inning.

Gravette (24-7) collected 11 hits on the day, led by Kildow, Gabbi Curtis, Keeleu Bulza, Hannah Cole and Emily Ellis who each had two hits. The top of Gravette's order was 6-for-11, and Cole and Ellis each drove in a run.

Kildow, a University of Arkansas verbal commit, threw 97 pitches and walked just one batter.

Shiloh Christian 7, CAC 4

The Saints advanced to Monday's semifinals as Michael Connolly was 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs in a win Saturday.

Shiloh Christian collected 11 hits in the win. Connor Clark, who also earned the win on the mound, was 3-for-4 at the plate. Jake Nelson was 2-f0r-3 with a double and RBI, and Luke Johnson drove in a pair of runs. Sawyer Duddleston also had a double for the Saints.

Clark went five innings to earn the win, allowing four earned runs with five strikeouts. Tyler Roth earned the save with two perfect innings of relief.

Malvern 2, Pea Ridge 1

The Blackhawks got a stellar pitching performance from Tyler Odell, but could not muster enough run support in a tough one-run loss Saturday.

Odell allowed just four hits and struck out eight.

Hayden Holtgrewe was 1-for-2 with a double and drove in Pea Ridge's only run.
