An Arkansas woman is charged with public intoxication and indecent exposure after officers said they found her walking around half-naked, according to a Marmaduke Police Department report.
A truck driver reportedly told an officer he saw a female walking down the Arkansas 34 about 9 a.m. Sunday wearing only a blue T-shirt and a bra and feared she needed help.
Police located Meredythe Edwards, 18, on Franklin Street, the report stated. Edwards said she was coming from the school and had been grading papers with her mother, according to authorities.
When asked if she was using any drugs, Edwards told police that she had taken "a lot of different Sudafed and Adderall," an officer noted.
Edwards was being held at the Greene County jail as of Monday afternoon. She appeared in court Monday morning but bail had not yet been set, a jail administrator said.
