Barrett Baber will perform at 9 p.m. today for the Thursday Night Live series at the Griffin Restaurant in El Dorado. Admission is free.

The Legendary Pacers will perform at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in Griffin Music Hall. Admission is $10.

Dennis Quaid & The Sharks will perform at 7 p.m. Saturday in Griffin Music Hall. Admission prices are $25, $20 or $15.

Quaid, best-known as an actor, is also a singer-songwriter-guitarist who has been making music since he grew up in Houston, with summers spent in east Texas listening to the music of Hank Williams before The Beatles arrived on the scene. He and his band, the Sharks, have been together for 17 years with their original lineup.

"We want to be the oldest band to ever make it in the music business, in rock 'n' roll," Quaid was quoted as saying in Nov. 1 Napa Valley Register before he and the band performed before the opening of the Napa Valley Film Festival. "We are going to keep going, we are going to make it, we are not giving up."

Peter Case, along with opening act Kevin Kerby, will perform at 9 p.m. today at White Water Tavern. Admission is $15.

Case, a native of Buffalo, N.Y., moved to California where he was a member of noted bands The Nerves and The Plimsouls. He released a debut, self-titled album in 1986 and has since released 12 more albums, the latest of which, HWY 62, released in 2015, was inspired by his travels on the U.S. highway that crosses north Arkansas from Piggott to Rogers.

Whitney Rose, along with opening act Bonnie Montgomery, will perform at 9 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $7.

Rose, a native of Prince Edward Island, Canada, now lives in Austin, Texas. She has released four albums, a self-titled debut, in 2012, followed by Heartbreaker of the Year in 2015 and Rule 62 earlier this year. Montgomery is a native Arkansan who now is based in Austin. Rose and Montgomery are exponents of what has been termed a "countrypolitan" sound.

Singer-songwriter Colter Wall, plus opening act Blake Berglund, will perform at 9 p.m. Friday at Stickyz Rock 'N' Roll Chicken Shack in Little Rock. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 the day of the show.

Wall, a native of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, released a self-titled debut album May 12 that was produced by Dave Cobb -- known for his work with Jason Isbell and Chris Stapleton. In 2016, Wall opened a Lucinda Williams show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn.

Opening act Blake Berglund is also a Saskatchewan native who released a concept album, Realms, earlier this year.

The Irie Lions will perform at 9:30 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $7.
