Ex-boyfriend chased her, fired shot at vehicle on I-30, North Little Rock woman tells police

A woman says her ex-boyfriend pursued her in his vehicle Wednesday night, shooting at her multiple times, according to a report from the North Little Rock Police Department.

The 20-year-old victim told authorities that she was in her vehicle, outside a Quality Inn, 500. W 29th St., when her ex-boyfriend pulled up in a Chrysler 200 around 11:30 p.m.

After the 27-year-old Conway resident tried to block her exit, the victim reportedly fled. While her ex-boyfriend pursued her vehicle, he fired multiple times — once on West Pershing Street and again on Interstate 30 — according to the report.

The victim described the weapon as a pink-and-black handgun.

A 27-year-old man who was in the vehicle with the victim during the chase told officers that the shooter fired on Main Street as well. Authorities said he added that he believes the shooter was trying to kill his ex-girlfriend.

Police noted that they were unable to locate bullet holes on the vehicle.

The 27-year-old listed as a suspect on the report was not listed on the Pulaski County jail roster Friday afternoon.
