Choirs from several churches in Rogers will present new music, including St. Vincent, First Presbyterian Church, Grace United Methodist Church, Oakley Chapel United Methodist Church, Central United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church.

Central United Methodist Church in Rogers, 2535 W. New Hope Road, serves this year as a collection point form more than 7,000 shoeboxes of gifts for children all over the world through the Operation Christmas Child program of Samaritan's purse. Football team members from Bentonville and Springdale schools volunteer their time to load donated shoeboxes into trucks Sunday and Monday.

First Baptist Church in Rogers, 3364 W. Pleasant Grove Road, delivers free Thanksgiving meals Thursday in the Rogers city limits for those in need and the home-bound. Meals include ham, green beans, potatoes and gravy, a roll, dressing and dessert. Reservations are required through the church office, beginning Monday.

First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista, 20 Boyce Drive, serves a Thanksgiving dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. The menu includes turkey and dressing, ham, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, honey-glazed carrots, cranberry relish, homemade rolls and assorted desserts.
