Little Rock restaurant loses money to burglary

At least one intruder at a west Little Rock Japanese restaurant stole money after breaking in early Monday, authorities said.

An alarm at Tokyo House went off around 4:20 a.m., which prompted officers to check on the restaurant at 11 Shackleford Drive, according to a Little Rock Police Department report.

The report said a cash register appeared to have been "rummaged through," and it also listed a register and a safe -- both with money in them -- as having been stolen. It was unclear whether anything else was taken.

The burglar or burglars got into the business by breaking a window on the front door, police noted.

No suspect information was listed in the report, and no arrests had been made at the time it was filed.
