Jogger collapses, dies in downtown Little Rock, police say

A man collapsed and died while he was jogging Wednesday afternoon in downtown Little Rock, police reported.

Officers were called shortly after 4 p.m. to Broadway and West Charles Bussey Avenue. Witnesses said a man had been jogging in the area when he fell down and didn't get up, according to police spokesman Lt. Steve McClanahan. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police did not immediately release the man's identity.

McClanahan said investigators believe the man died of natural causes.
