A man who is accused of driving a truck through a rural Arkansas cemetery, damaging multiple tombstones, was arrested Friday night, authorities say.
David Allen Wooldridge, 57, of Jonesboro is charged with first-degree criminal mischief, a felony, in the vandalism that occurred Tuesday night at Trinity Cemetery in Bono, according to a Craighead County sheriff's office report.
Seven to eight tombstones were knocked over, and the damage is reportedly estimated at $5,000.
Craighead County jail records show Wooldridge was released on $1,500 bond about 4:30 p.m. Monday. His next court appearance in scheduled for Oct. 31.
