Amanda Kathryn Cook became the bride of Andrew George Carroll at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 28, at First Presbyterian Church, Jefferson City, Mo. The Rev. Mary Hilliard of Asbury Methodist Church in Little Rock officiated.

Cindy and Max Cook of Jefferson City are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of the late Madonna and Max Cook and the late Sylvia and Jim Cooper.

The groom is the son of LeeEllen and Chuck Carroll. His grandparents are Martha and Dr. George Mitchell of Little Rock, Beth and Doug Haville of Hot Springs and Geraldine and the late Charles "Cheeks" Carroll.

Candles of various heights decorated the chancel. Music was by vocalist Trey Kennedy, cousin of the bride.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless ivory gown with a strapless silk sweetheart bodice and full tulle skirt with a crystal embellished sash at the waist. She carried a bouquet of white calla lilies, tulips, roses and dendrobium orchids.

Ashlyn Johnson of Dallas was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Lauren Curtis, Stephanie Brown, Ashley Kerksieck, Morgan Holmes, Stacey Martin, Heather Copeland, Mary Dudley Garrison, Alyson Harris, Megan Irwin, Anne-Claire Allen Owens and Meredith Pelton, all of Little Rock; Lauren McCaslin of Fayetteville; and Jessica Burkett of Wynne. They wore black chiffon gowns in the style of their choice and carried a smaller version of the bride's bouquet.

The father of the groom was best man. Groomsmen were Wes Martin, Josh Tennyson, Ellis Copeland, Joe Ramsey, Taylor Marshall, Alec Gaines, Colin Pelton, Spencer Davis and Chad Carroll, brother of the groom, all of Little Rock; Creighton Parker of Fayetteville; Steven Meadors of Dallas; Taylor Denniston of North Little Rock; and Neil Carpenter of Kansas City, Mo.

After the ceremony, guests gathered at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City for a champagne cocktail hour followed by a seated dinner. Guest tables held a mix of tall arrangements of tropical foliage including Areca palm and monstera leaves and shorter arrangements of tulips, roses, lisianthus and dendrobium orchids. Music was by Arvell & Company of St. Louis.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, with a bachelor's degree in advertising and public relations. She is a brand manager at Eric Rob & Isaac.

The groom, also a UA graduate, has a bachelor's degree in financial management and investments and is a vice president and commercial loan officer at Central Bank.

The couple will live in Little Rock after a wedding trip to Barbados.
