Hannah Kathryn Gilbert and Chase Addison Cain exchanged marriage vows at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, July 26 at Pangas Beach Club, Guanacaste Province, Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Joey Cain, uncle of the groom, officiated.

Parents of the bride are Kim and Scott Gilbert of Little Rock. She is the granddaughter of Dorothy and the late Leroy Gilbert of Little Rock and Annette and the late Jack Seamans of Pine Bluff.

The groom is the son of Shari Cain of Maumelle and Steve Smith of Mountain View. He is the grandson of Marion and the late Kenny Cain and the late Roger Smith, all of McCrory, and Linda McDonald of Victoria, Texas.

The ceremony site held an arch decorated with wedding flowers, succulents and greenery. Large arrangements of palm leaves marked the entrance to the aisle which was lined with lanterns.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a sleeveless ivory gown. The dropped-waist lace bodice had a deep V-neckline and was embellished with pearls at the waist. The A-line tulle skirt was scattered with lace appliques. Her fingertip-length veil was edged with ivory embroidered Chantilly lace and she wore a pearl cuff bracelet worn by her mother on her wedding day. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of eucalyptus, succulents and alstromeria, lisianthus, roses and orchids in shades of pink, peach and white.

Serving as bridesmaids were Alex Byars, Amy Levine and Ashley Jefferson, all of Dallas, and Erin Jeffrey of Little Rock. They wore chiffon gowns in different styles in the color of sea glass. They carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet.

Groomsmen were Dominick Scelfo and Jared King, both of Dallas, Chance Osburn of Nashville and Ryan Lamberson of Little Rock. Guests were seated by Hayden Gilbert of Little Rock, brother of the bride.

A reception at the club followed at the ceremony. Guests tables were centered with garlands of flowers, succulents, sea glass, and candles in gold mercury glass containers. Assisting was Margo Bridger of Jonesboro.

The bride has a bachelor's degree in Spanish from the University of Arkansas and a doctor of pharmacy from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, College of Pharmacy. She is a pharmacist at Premier Pharmacy Care in Sherwood.

The groom attended the University of Central Arkansas where he took pre-pharmacy classes and graduated with a doctor of pharmacy from UAMS. He is a pharmacist manager at Walgreens Pharmacy in Little Rock.

After a honeymoon in Arenal La Fortuna, Costa Rica, the couple will live in Little Rock.
