The work of Carmen Alexandria Thompson, who goes by Allie, is featured in the quarterly exhibition series Art Department, hosted by the Thea Foundation in North Little Rock.
An opening reception was held in the gallery Aug. 3.
The exhibit, titled "The Mind Unveiled," features works that include painting, printmaking and mixed media.
Thompson is a graduate of Little Rock Central High School and Hendrix College.
Guests at the event were able to meet the artist and enjoy drinks and heavy hors d'oeuvres by chef Shane Henderson with Ben E. Keith.
Thompson's works will be on display through Aug. 31.
