Chabad of Northwest Arkansas, 5402 W. Redbud St. in Rogers, will host a public lighting of the Menorah for Hanukkah at 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the Fayetteville Town Center on the downtown square. There will be music, and hot latkes will be served.

Zion Christian Union Church in Fayetteville, 4984 Wedington Drive, hosts a church bazaar from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. The sale offers crafts, new and used items, baked goods and a $6 lunch. Proceeds go to charitable causes.

First United Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville, 695 Calvin St., will host its annual Alternative Market from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday in the Fellowship Hall. Local crafts, handmade accessories and gift cards will be offered for sale with all proceeds supporting charities and nonprofit helping agencies. Cash, checks, and credit cards accepted.

Washington Regional Pastoral Care Department, 3 E. Appleby Road, Suite 102, Fayetteville, will offer a grief support group for women who have experienced loss through stillbirth or miscarriage.
The support group will meet from 6 to 7 p.m. Sundays. It will be led by Chaplain Jacqueline Eakens of the Benton County Sheriff's Department.

Benton County
Bella Vista United Lutheran Church, 100 Cooper Road, hosts a St. Nicholas Day Party at 2 p.m. today. Children of all ages are welcome to join in to hear a story, sing songs, make a craft and have a snack in celebration of St. Nicholas.
The Women of United's annual Christmas Social & Tea is scheduled for noon Dec. 8. Members are collecting hats, mittens, gloves, and coats for Northside Elementary School this year and decorating a tree in Fellowship Hall with all hats, mittens and gloves collected. Sizes 4-10 are particularly needed.

Highlands United Methodist Church in Bella Vista, 371 Glasgow Road, hosts the 30th annual Cookie Walk today. Doors open at 8 a.m.; the Walk begins at 8:30 a.m. Cinnamon rolls, coffee, sweets and treats, soups to go and handmade crafts are available for purchase all morning. All proceeds support Highlands Church mission and ministry projects. Containers of cookies are $12 each.
Everyone is invited to the Hanging of the Greens service during the 9:30 a.m. traditional worship service on Sunday, when the sanctuary will be decorated for the Advent and Christmas seasons. The service will conclude with Holy Communion.
Family Movie Night, hosted by the Children's Ministry, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, with a feature of "The Star: The Story of the First Christmas." The whole family is welcome, and the event is free. Please RSVP on the Facebook page event at Highlands Church of Bella Vista.
The Chancel Choir will present its Christmas Cantata at the 5:30 p.m. Dec. 15 and at the 10:30 a.m. service Dec. 16. Under the direction of John Matthews, the choir will sing "The Glory of Christmas," a Christmas celebration for choir and congregation created by Lloyd Larson. The choir will be accompanied by pianist Pam Meyer and organist Jeannine Wagar. All are welcome.
The next Blood Drive is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 19 and is organized by the HUMMERS (Highlands United Methodist Men). Free cholesterol screening is available. A photo ID is required.

Bella Vista Lutheran Church, 1990 Forest Hills Blvd., opens its Shepherd's Food Pantry from 10 a.m. to noon each Friday. Holiday donations are needed, including canned pumpkin, condensed milk and canned cranberry sauce.
There will be a special service for those unable to attend regular worship at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 4. Following the service, a lunch will be served. Anyone who needs transportation to this service, or any other service, should call the church office.
At 3:30 p.m. Dec. 8, the Celebration Choir and Orchestra will present a Christmas concert. A reception will follow. All are invited.

At 7 p.m. Dec. 4, a Men's Bible Study will meet in the Oasis Center, studying the book of Daniel. The White Cross Women's Mission ministry and the ladies' KniTTogether ministry will also meet at 7 p.m. The ladies enjoy informal fellowship while working on projects that benefit needy children and adults in our area as well as a hospital in Congo. Any ladies from the community are welcome to come and learn more about these ministries.
The Oasis Food Pantry will be open from 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 5. This ministry is available to anyone in our area who needs help with groceries and would appreciate the compassion and encouragement of friendly volunteers.

Stonecroft Ministries hosts the Bella Vista Christian Women's Connection from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Dec. 11 at Bella Vista Community Church, 75 Lancashire Blvd. The public is invited. The theme is "Christmas Melodies," and the feature will be the Bella Vista Women's Choir. The speaker will be Tom Buchhorn of Bella Vista on "Double Life." Men are welcome.
The brunch is held the second Tuesday of each month, and an all-American breakfast is served for $10.
