Makenna Vanzant scored her 1,000th career point Friday as Farmington defeated Clarksville during the Tyson Classic in Pottsville.
Madisyn Pense had 16 points to lead the Lady Cardinals (5-0), who led 24-21 at halftime and 35-28 after three quarters. Vanzant added 14 while Tori Kersey added 10.
Emmaline Rieder led Clarksville (6-2) with 14 points.
Harrison 55, Bentonville West 38
Harrison outscored West 17-5 in the second quarter as the Lady Goblins claimed a win at the Willard (Mo.) Tri-State Classic.
The outburst helped the Lady Goblins turn a 14-11 deficit into a 28-19 halftime lead, then Harrison outscored West (2-1) 14-6 in the third quarter for a 42-25 cushion.
Sydney Shrum led Harrison with 11 points while Brylie Parker and Marion Groberg added 10 points. Shania Wilson paced West with 14 points.
Gravette 51, Huntsville 37
Gravette raced to a 21-5 lead, then held Huntsville back to claim a 4A-1 Conference win Friday.
Shylee Morrison had 16 points and Gabbi Scott 15 for the Lady Lions (2-2), whose lead was cut to 29-22 at halftime and 37-29 after three quarters. Josie Sisk had 10 points to lead Huntsville (2-4).
Van Buren 60, Southside Batesville 33
The Lady Pointers jumped out to a 22-3 lead in the first quarter and never looked back Friday in the Greene County Tech Tournament.
Brooklyn Kannady scored 16 points to lead Van Buren (3-1). Elizabeth Rainwater scored 14 and Kayleigh Evans 12,
Emily Freeman scored 8 for Southside.
Jasper 57, NWA Classical Academy 14
Sierra Johnson had 14 points to lead Jasper to victory in its 1A-1 Conference opener.
Hope Brasel and Emma Lewis added 10 points apiece for the Lady Pirates (10-1, 1-0), who led 38-7 at halftime.

Rogers Heritage 54, Harrison 47
The War Eagles hit 15 of 17 free throws in the fourth quarter to hold off the Goblins and advance to the championship of the Tri-State Classic in Willard, Mo.
Heritage (2-1) led 22-21 at halftime but pushed it to 35-28 after three quarters. Tyler Furuseth led Heritage's free-throw barrage, hitting 7 of 8 in the fourth quarter.
Jason Kimball led the War Eagles with 18 points, including 15 in the second half. Logan Clines also added 15.
Heritage will face host Willard, Mo., in the championship today.
Van Buren 63, Clarksville 47
The Pointers led 39-27 at halftime and slowly expanded that in the second half to notch the win.
Brayden Gilmore led the Pointers (1-3) with 17 points. Logan Brothers scored 16 and Gary Phillips 12.
Trace Thomas led Clarksville with 28 points.
Mountain Home 53, Bentonville West 48
Mountain Home broke a 47-47 tie with 1:06 remaining to hand West its second loss in as many night during the Citizens Bank Classic in Van Buren.
Dawson Bailey led the Wolverines (0-2) with 20 points while Tucker Swoboda and Dillon Bailey each added nine.
Harrison 65, Willard, Mo. 52
Ben Elliott had 25 points to lead three players in double figures as Harrison knocked off the host team in the opening day of the Willard Tri-State Classic.
Carson Journagan added 18 and Jacob Shrum 10 for the Goblins (3-0).
FS Northside 92, International Leadership 48
The Grizzlies won their second straight lopsided game in the Arlington (Texas) Classic on Friday as four players scored in double figures.
Javion Releford led Northside (4-1) with 17 points. Anthony Travis scored 14, Jaylin Williams 13 and Semonte Henderson 11.
The Grizzlies will take on Waxahachie at noon today.
Springdale High 64, Marshfield, Mo. 49
The Bulldogs (1-1) scored a big win Friday in the Republic, Mo., Tournament behind Jujuan Boyd's 21 points.
Vincent Mason added 13 for Springdale, who will take on Lebanon, Mo., at 12:30 p.m. today.
Fayetteville 65, Springfield (Mo.) Kickapoo 60
The Bulldogs dominated the fourth quarter and earned a huge win Friday night in the Arvest Bank Classic to advance to today's championship game.
The game was tied at 43-43 after three quarters, but the Bulldogs (3-1) outscored Kickapoo 22-17 to claim the semifinal win as Colin Cooper scored 34 points. Isiah Releford scored 13 and Tamari Releford 10 for Fayetteville.
On Thursday the Bulldogs edged Raytown, Mo., 70-67 as Cooper scored 22 points and Isiah Releford added 13.
Huntsville 61, Gravette 56
The Eagles claimed a narrow win in 4A-1 Conference action Friday night as Beau Welchel scorched the nets for 35 points.
Sean McCone added 16 for Huntsville.
Jake Carver and Chance Austin scored 12 each for Gravette.
Alma 58, Batesville Southside 56 (OT)
Cejay Mann had 20 points as Alma edged Batesville Southside in the first day of the Airedale Classic.
Alma led 31-30 at halftime and 49-44 after three quarters before Southside came back and forced a 63-63 tie at the end of regulation.
Taelon Peter and Zach White each had 12 points for the Airedales, who held on for the victory after Southside missed a game-tying bucket with 7 seconds remaining.
Alma will play Sheridan at 5 p.m. today.

JBU men upset SAGU
In a wire-to-wire win, the John Brown University men's basketball team posted its first ranked win of the season, handing previous unbeaten No. 18 Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) a 93-78 setback Thursday night inside the Sheaffer Center in Waxahachie, Texas.
Junior Brenton Toussaint was unstoppable, literally, as he shot 10 of 10 from the field to net a career-high 23 points. The entire Golden Eagles (6-2, 2-0 Sooner Athletic) squad combined to shoot 30 of 55 (55 percent) from the field and hit 12 of 24 from behind the arc.
Sophomore Rokas Grabliauskas chipped in with 15 points and six boards while senior Jake Caudle scored 14 points but hit all eight attempts at the charity stripe and added a team-high seven rebounds.
Kennedy came off the bench to provide 22 minutes and hit 4 of 5 from behind the 3-point line, finishing with 14 points.
JBU women hold on for victory
Senior Baily Cameron came through in the clutch with a personal 7-0 run late in the fourth quarter while junior Jordan Martin and sophomore Taylor Fergen each shot lights out in the John Brown University women's basketball team's 77-72 victory at Southwestern Assemblies of God (Texas) on Thursday night inside the Sheaffer Center in Waxahachie, Texas.
John Brown (6-1, 2-0 Sooner Athletic) led by as much as 14 points in the third quarter, but the Lions whittled down the deficit to just one point, twice, with 5 minutes, 25 seconds left in the contest.
Two possessions later, Cameron hit her third 3-pointer of the game and followed up with converting two free throws on the next trip down the floor. After a third defensive stand, Cameron finished off a bucket down low from Martin that returned the lead back to eight, 67-59, as the remainder of the contest turned into a free-throw shooting contest. JBU hit 16-of-22 from the line in the second half to cement the victory, the Golden Eagles' second win in their last three trips to the Sheaffer Center.
Martin and Fergen combined to shoot 85 percent from the floor, leading five Golden Eagles in double-digit scoring. Martin hit 6 of 7 from the field, including a pair of triples, to post a season-high 18 points while grabbing six boards and dishing out four assists. Fergen, meanwhile, also had six boards and three assists and hit 5 of 6 from the field to contribute 15 points, also a season-best mark.
Cameron scored nine of her 15 points in the second half and added six rebounds. Senior Karina Chandra and junior Sara Williams contributed 11 and 10 points, respectively.
