Alpena 57, Jasper 38

Alex Hill had 21 points to lead Alpena to a 1A-1 Conference victory over Jasper, which had a 62-game conference win streak end.

Abby Dean added 17 for Alpena (13-2, 3-0), which led 31-18 at halftime. Sierra Johnson led Jasper (12-2, 2-1) with 16 points, followed by Hope Brasel with 10.

Atkins 37, Paris 34

The Lady Devils edged Paris in 3A-4 Conference action Tuesday night.

Pelar Handie scored 10 for Atkins in the win. Kieli Robinson had a game-high 21 for Paris.

Pea Ridge 58, Huntsville 24

Hollyn Davis had 24 points to lead Pea Ridge to a 4A-1 Conference victory Tuesday night against Huntsville.

Blakelee Winn added 14 for the Lady Blackhawks (10-2), who led 29-12 at halftime before they went on a 24-5 run in the third quarter. Josie Sisk and Kendra Poor each had nine for Huntsville.

Charleston 54, Cedarville 30

Charleston jumped out t0 a 16-6 first-quarter lead and remained unbeaten with a 3A-1 West victory over Cedarville.

Alexis Grandison had 13 points to lead the Lady Tigers (9-0, 2-0), followed by Alli Green with 11 and Baylee King with 10.

Clarksville 47, Dover 18

Clarksville posted a 19-5 first-quarter advantage and were never threatened as the Lady Panthers cruised to a 4A-4 Conference victory at Dover.

Emmaline Rieder had 12 points for Clarksville (9-3, 2-0), which led 31-12 at halftime.

Greenland 44, Elkins 35

Greenland held Elkins to just two points in the second quarter as the Lady Pirates won their 3A-1 West opener.

Greenland led 13-8 after one quarter, then stretched it out to a 24-10 halftime cushion.

Destiny Jackson had 18 for the Lady Pirates (6-4, 1-0), followed by Fiona Wilson with 16. Carla Burton had 12 to pace Elkins.

Jasper 55, Timbo 28

Sierra Johnson scored 24 points in the first half as Jasper knocked off Timbo in the opening round of the Western Grove Tournament.

Johnson finished with 29 for Jasper (12-1), which built a 29-16 halftime cushion. Hope Brasel added 10 for the Lady Pirates while Katie Robique led Timbo (1-12) with 16.

Gravette 62, McDonald C0unty, Mo. 38

Jessica Bookout scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Lady Lions to a nonconference win Monday night.

Kaylan Chilton added 10 for Gravette (4-3).

Berryville 47, Ozark 16

The unbeaten Lady Bobcats smothered Ozark in nonconference action Monday night, allowing the Lady Hillbillies just two points in the first half.

Lilli Compton scored 13 points to lead Berryville (11-0) and Kelcee Hopper scored 8.

Boys

FS Southside 67, Springdale High 64

The Mavericks held off a furious fourth-quarter charge to take a nonconference win Tuesday night.

Southside led 50-40 heading into the final quarter before the Bulldogs scored 24 points. The Mavericks scored 17 in the fourth to secure the win.

Jajuan Boyd scored 23 points for Springdale and Tavari Eckwood scored 19.

Valley Springs 63, Mountain View 32

The Tigers made it 19 straight wins to open the season in a blowout over Mountain View on Tuesday.

Trammell Trell led Valley Springs (19-0, 5-0 3A-1 East) with 16 points and Isaac Ragland scored 15.

Paris 63, Atkins 30

The Eagles blew past Atkins for a 3A-4 Conference action.

Grayson Moore led Paris with 23 points and Micah Duncan had 18.

Eureka Springs 51, Decatur 29

Garrett Cross scored a game-high 21 points to lead the Highlanders to a 2A-1 Conference win Tuesday night.

Matthew Lester added 15 for Eureka Springs (14-4).

Ryan Ross had 11 for Decatur (1-9).

Eureka Springs will return to action against Deer on Thursday in the Western Grove Tournament.

Charleston 63, Cedarville 42

Jacob Green had 18 points to lead Charleston to a 3A-1 West Conference win over Cedarville.

Brayden Caudle added 10 for the Tigers (5-2, 2-0), while Brayden Ross, Blaine Rowland and Kaleb Fisher each chipped in eight points.

Providence Academy 60, Omaha 53

Providence led 43-32 after three quarters, then held off an Omaha comeback attempt to claim a nonconference victory.

J.D. Siemens led Providence with 27 points, followed by Coleman Wheeler with 10. Trey Stone led Omaha with 13 points while Hunter Isbell added 11 and Austin Isbell 10.

Springfield (Mo.) Hillcrest 76, Berryville 68

The Bobcats grabbed the early lead, but Hilcrest dominated the second half.

Samson Cochran scored 22 points for Hillcrest and Aiden Tummons scored 20.

Landon Chester scored 19 including 5 3-pointers for Berryville. Zach Webb scored 13 and Kyler Kendrick added 11.

Western Grove 71, Oark 33

The Warriors jumped to a 24-11 lead after one quarter and never looked back in the opening round of their own tournament on Monday evening.

Luke Lane led Western Grove (13-4) with 16 points, while Zack Boline added 12 and Hunter Baker 10.
