APPOINTMENTS

Justin Tate of Little Rock to the Arkansas Public Service Commission. Tate will replace outgoing Commissioner Elana Wills when her term expires Jan. 14.

Scott Willhite of Jonesboro to the Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission. Willhite will serve as the labor commissioner, replace outgoing Commissioner Philip Hood.

City of Little Rock Mayor-Elect Frank Scott Jr. announced the Board of Directors of his transition. They are Jay Barth, Gus Blass III, Tamika Edwards, Sen. Joyce Elliott, Kathryn Hazelett, Baker Kurrus, Cristina Monterrey, Antwan Phillips, Will Rockefeller, John Rutledge and Dr. Sara Tariq.

COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE

Nicholas Kelley, Cynthia Lu, Kevin Pledger and Eric Varner of Flake and Kelley Commercial have earned shareholder partners status. Kelley is the company’s executive vice president. Lu is a member of the company’s transactional team. Pledger is director of facilities. Varner is a member of the company’s property management team.

CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

Trish Villines has been named executive director of the Arkansas Institute for Performance Excellence, an affiliated organization of the Arkansas State Chamber of Commerce/Associated Industries of Arkansas.

STATE FAIR

Doug White has been named interim president and general manager of the Arkansas Livestock Show Association, the organization that produces the annual Arkansas State Fair. White has resigned his former position as secretary-treasurer of the livestock association board of directors.
