Arkansas 32, Bucknell 4 - FINAL

The Razorbacks came one run shy of tying the school record runs. Jack Kenley struck out looking with two runners in scoring position to end the eighth inning.

The 32 runs are tied for second-most in a game. Arkansas scored 32 in a 2010 win over St. Louis.

Tomorrow's series finale begins at noon.

Arkansas 31, Bucknell 4 - Bottom 7th Inning

Jared Gates' two-run double just gave Arkansas' its 30th run. Hunter Wilson followed with an RBI single to score Wilson. This is the sixth inning which Arkansas has scored at least three runs.

Arkansas 27, Bucknell 2 - End 6th Inning

Arkansas has hit two more home runs this inning - a three-run homer by Casey Martin and a two-run shot by Jared Gates. The home runs have accounted for 13 of the team's runs today.

The Razorbacks are out-hitting Bucknell 17-4.

In case you're interested, the school record for runs scored is 33 against Southwest Baptist in 1984. The school record for home runs in a game is nine against Grambling State in the 2010 NCAA regional.

Arkansas 22, Bucknell 2 - Middle 5th Inning

Evan Lee gave up a run on a hit and two walks in the fifth inning. Arkansas has several pitchers throwing in the bullpen. Perhaps this will be used as a chance to get several some work in the late innings.

Arkansas 22, Bucknell 1 - End 4th Inning

Another pitching change in the middle of another eventful Arkansas inning. Dominic Fletcher has an RBI double, Eric Cole walked and scored on a wild pitch, and Grant Koch had a sac fly RBI. Arkansas is threatening to bat around for the third time in four innings.

After the pitching change, an error on the shortstop allowed Luke Bonfield to score. Add a 21st run on Casey Martin's sac fly to score Heston Kjerstad, who reached when he was hit by a pitch for the third time in two games.

Add a 22nd run on Jack Kenley's two-out RBI single.

On the mound, it appears Isaiah Campbell's day probably is finished. Evan Lee is warming up in the bullpen. After his rough start, Campbell has struck out seven and allowed a run on three hits and two walks.

Arkansas 16, Bucknell 1 - End 3rd Inning

Carson Shaddy continues to swing a hot bat. His three-run double off the wall in center field has given the Hogs seven runs in the third inning. He has 8 RBI already this year.

Arkansas 13, Bucknell 1 - Bottom 3rd Inning

The Razorbacks have sent nine batters to the plate this inning. Heston Kjerstad's two-run single with two outs just forced another Bucknell pitching change. Grant Koch also has an RBI this inning with a two-out bases-loaded walk, and Dominic Fletcher had an RBI on a fielder's choice.

Arkansas 9, Bucknell 1 - Bottom 2nd Inning

Dominic Fletcher just hit a three-run homer that nearly hit the video board in center field and Grant Koch added a two-out solo homer into the left field bullpen, and it is turning into another blowout.

Arkansas 4, Bucknell 1 - Bottom 2nd Inning

Arkansas 3, Bucknell 1 - Middle 2nd Inning

Isaiah Campbell had a much more efficient second inning, needing 15 pitches to retire all three Bucknell batters. The Bison are fouling off quite a few of Campbell's pitches early in this game. It will be interesting to see how long he will make it.

Arkansas 3, Bucknell 1 - Bottom 1st Inning

Luke Bonfield has Arkansas' second home run of the season - a three-run shot with one out in the bottom of the first to put the Razorbacks ahead.

Bonfield's homer cleared the wall near the 375-foot marker in left-center field. It scored Jax Biggers and Eric Cole, who both singled to leadoff the inning.

A new thing this year apparently is to put one of the plastic hog hats on someone who hits a home run. Bonfield was crowned with it as he came off the field, just as Carson Shaddy was following his three-run homer in the second inning yesterday.

Bucknell 1, Arkansas 0 - Middle 1st Inning

It was a rough start for Arkansas right-hander Isaiah Campbell, who needed 23 pitches before he recorded his first out in the inning. He had a walk, a wild pitch and gave up a single to allow the Bison on the board.

He eventually settled in and was able to strand a base runner.
