Mike Anderson is set to preview Saturday's game against Missouri. The press conference begins at 2:30 p.m.

-Anderson says he did not get much sleep last night because of the lopsided loss to LSU. "I didn't think we showed up with the sense of urgency we needed to show up with....That was not a typical Razorback performance and we vow for people to see the real Razorbacks when we play Saturday."

-On Missouri, Anderson says Cuonzo Martin has done "an excellent job" in his first season of getting the Tigers to "play at a high level."

-Anderson said his players rushed too many shots last night and "it became an uphill battle" once LSU began to make shots. He said the energy level was not good and no combination of players could fix it.

-What will fix the team's woes? Anderson points to the defense, citing that and the bench play as the reason the Razorbacks had a hot start to the season with wins over Minnesota, Oklahoma and UConn.

-Anderson indicates LSU's ability to pass "four, five, six times" contributed to Arkansas' defensive troubles last year.

-Anderson says the Hogs have "to attack the basket" and "play inside-out" more on offense.

-Asked whether he is surprised at how well Mizzou has played since Michael Porter Jr. was injured, Anderson says no. "They are playing like a team," he said. "...It doesn't surprise me. When you play team basketball and guys are sharing the basketball...it makes the game simple, and that's what you want."

-Anderson on last night's loss: "One game doesn't make a season."

-Anderson says he likes how Trey Thompson is scoring inside over the past couple of games; says that could be a "tremendous asset" moving forward.

It would be nice to see Anderson having the Razorbacks "play at a high level". One game can make a season if you keep on losing them. They for sure aren't moving "forward". His players and teams always get worse as the season progresses. Have every year.
